Terence (Terry) Frederick Edwin Giles

1929-2024

Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on November 5, 2024 at the age of 95.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Jean Giles (nee Mason).

Loving father to Lynn (David) and Karen (Jeff). Grandfather to Samantha (Chris) and Sarah (Kris). Great grandfather to Ben, Laura, Leah and Monroe.

Retired from the City of Oshawa Planning and Development Department, proud past member of the Ontario Regiment and Oshawa Legion Branch 43 and Charter President of the Oshawa Parkwood Rotary Club.

In accordance with Terry’s wishes, there will be no funeral.

The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff of the geriatric and palliative care units at the Ross Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care.

Also thank you to the staff at Kawartha Lakes Retirement Residence for their kindness.
