We were sad to hear that Lydia has left us, but know that she is now enjoying her new home. Life on earth goes so quickly, but eternity is forever and that is our hope that we will be united once again. We re-connected last year and were looking forward to spending more time with Lydia until I received a text from her saying she was very ill and had moved back to Ontario. She was a special person. Deepest condolences from Gordon and Anita Kletke.

We are truly sad to hear of Lydia's passing. She was a great lady and good friend. We will miss her warm smile, cheerful laugh and of course those interesting conversations. Lydia had an unique way of lighting up the room and making people feel welcome and supported. Her dedication to truth, healing and justice inspired those around her and we are all better off for having known her. At the health store we still have many customers who have been inquiring about her and wishing her well. She will not soon be forgotten. We would like to wish our deepest condolences to all of her family and friends and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We light this candle in memory of a bright light that continues to shine through us. David and Shyama Schmidt

My deepest condolences to all of Lydia's family and friends.....I hope that the happy memories of her will help you get through this difficult time....
Knowing Lydia was a true honor that began when we started working together in Edmonton. All of us loved and cherished her immensely. Lydia lit up the room with her contagious smile, beautiful, bubbly and cheerful personality as soon as she entered it. During our times working together we enjoyed many deeply meaningful and memorable conversations.
Lydia had a heart of gold, big enough to provide a place of comfort for all she had met. Lydia also had a soul of a fierce warrior who never stopped fighting for the truth and righteousness.
Her boundless energy, love of life and every human being, her always cheerful and positive attitude and spotless work ethic was an inspiration to all who was blessed to get to know her. All her customers speak highly of her to this day.
Though Lydia is no longer with us her spirit will live in our hearts forever. Her beautiful smile and the joy she brought into our lives will always be remembered. Lydia truly lived life to its fullest inspiring those around her to embrace each and every day in the most beautiful way.
I am forever grateful that our paths in life have crossed...

It is said that Friends are like the seasons each one leaving a mark on our hearts and memories. Lydia and I enjoyed a wonderful friendship in our early years growing up through our parents who were bonded by a tight knit Christian community formed when they immigrated to Canada after the war. Our families enjoyed many happy, blessed and joyful times together. We thank God for His providence.
THANKYOU for being in my life dear friend, it truly was a special season.
Till we meet again.
My sincerest condolences to the family.

Lydia, You will be so very missed. You fought so hard and had the best support of your wonderful family.
I will miss our great conversations and your wonderful spirit. Always so encouraging, a wonderful nurse and advocate for others.
You were a very hard worker and always put a smile on everyone's face.
Still hard to believe your gone, but we all have that blessed hope- till me meet again.
My deepest condolences Nancy, Aaron, Sarah, grandchildren, siblings and all the family. She loved you all very much.
