BARRY JAMES EASTON

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Barry James Easton on July 27th 2023  at the age of 51   

Cherished husband of Janet Easton (nee Bouwmeister)   Dedicated and loving father to Emiley, the late Victoria, Maggie and Kattie.  Predeceased by his mother Gladys (Camelon) and father Peter Easton. 

Barry was truly devoted to his family and shared his love of the outdoors with them.

Barry was a well respected and loved Retired Sergeant of the Durham Regional Police force of 29 years. He was a man of many strengths and honour. He will be fondly remembered by many relatives, friends, fellow officers and members of the community.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their overwhelming support and love they have been shown during this time of great sadness.

In leu of flowers donations may be made to the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville on Thursday August 3rd from 2:00 - 8:00 pm.  Funeral Service will be held at HOPE FELLOWSHIP CHURCH, 1685 Bloor Street Courtice on Friday August 4th at 1 pm.  To view the service virtually, please use the link below.

Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Calabogie, Ontario on Sunday August 6th at 1 pm followed by a celebration of life at The Calabogie Community Hall, 574 Mill Street.
