Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday June 24th, 2023
Beloved husband of Florence (nee Rekker). Dear father of John (Angela), Greg (Penny), Debbie (Rick) and Wendy (Toni). Loving grandpa of Gregory, Amber (Amanda), Katee, Brittany, Natasha (Jeff), Kirstin (Greg), Jeremy, Taylor, Beth, Tawnya, Gerrit, Chanel, Christopher, Nicole, Jordan, RJ and Jason. Adoring Grampy to his many great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Pete (Seane), Henry (Lori), Del (Greta) and the late Bill, Bob, Claude, Tony & Tim. Loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was a Father figure that has touched the lives of many foster children, family and friends and will be lovingly remembered.
Visitation will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 130 Scugog Street on Tuesday June 27th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Church on Wednesday June 28th at 1 pm. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society or The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
