DJ was such a wonderful and generous person. I will never forget the care package she sent me off to university with my first year and the years she took me under her wing at the old Bo Peep restaurant. We shared many laughs together! I will miss her dearly.

My Big Sister as many know, loved her German Shepard’s. As a little kid in Kaladar with “Major”to her home in Oshawa as an adult. Her and Al had 6 Shepard’s in over 40 years of marriage. To her, they were her “Happy Place” Anyone who really knew my sister will agree that She’s in Heaven right now, and She’s happy because every pet She ever had, that has crossed over that Rainbow Bridge when it was their time,...are with her, and everyone is Happy.

Al, I'm so sorry for your loss. Both you and DJ were good to me. As you know, DJ and I became such good friends and confidantes. We both were there for one another. Our days of being bunkies together for work conferences were such good times. I remember the box of red wine and regular potato chips in the hotel room. The conversations in the hotel lobby or her dinner menu always ordering salmon on the first night. Her sense of humor. We both could almost read one anothers minds. Our work cubicles were directly across from one another and we just had to give one another the look. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Love you so much. Hugs. Jill

Dear Al: I am so sorry for your loss. Dj was such a good friend and colleague at work. She could always make me laugh with her little dry humour. Her dedication to work is to be admired. She loved you and her dogs and spoke about you always.

Al; so sorry to hear of the passing of DJ; she was a wonderful colleague and friend for many years. I was fortunate to have shared many hours with her at the office where she displayed such kindness and care with those students and families she served. DJ you had a wonderful sense of humour and made many of our difficult days lighter. So many memories of after work discussions where we all solved the problems of the world “up the hill”. Rest easy my friend you will be deeply missed.

Although we haven’t been together for a long time I wanted to express my sincere condolences for DJ’s passing. The two of you were definitely a team and I know how much you always had each other’s back and am so sorry you have lost that. She will be missed.
