Dear Mom,
I am proud to be your only daughter. Our mother & daughter connection is forever strong. I believe this is why you went completely deaf when I was born.
You were my best friend, my sister & the best mother a daughter could have imagined. I am a strong woman because of you.
Our family thrived with your courage, strength & determination. Your love & devotion to us was endless.
Our family was everything to you. You were everything to us.
Your talents were limitless. Cooking, sewing, cleaning & always willing to help out. Your cooking was absolutely delicious. From your soups, roasts & desserts. Your apple cake & your famous blueberry cheesecake.
Your face would light up in awe of natures creatures….Your love of nature was beautiful.
Your love for all your grandchildren was beautiful. Spencer adored you & treasures your special time with him.
You taught me how to cook, bake, sew & clean by the age of 10. You taught me how to bake my famous apple pie.
I will treasure our moments forever.

My condolences to the Van Den Hoven Family.I worked with Anna in the 1980’s at W.Frank Real Estate.
I remember her as a bright,energetic lady that was never shy to ask a question or add a comment.Anna
would remember details and had lots of energy.
I hadn’t seen her for many years but we bumped into each other about 3 or 4 years ago outside the Town Hall.
It was a real pleasure to be reacquainted again and have a smile and a hug.Anna was a unique,genuine lady
that leaves me with fond memories.

I cherish the memories of my visits to Canada. Aunt Annie was an energetic woman who was always helpful. Her humor and exuberant laugh, which sounded above everything, will always stay with me. My deepest condolences to all of you with this great loss. She will certainly be missed.

My Mom was the hardest working person that I know. Even in her 80s, she re-designed and re-built a house with my Father and Brother Neil to be closer to the Family.

My mother adored her family, loved to organize family events, especially Christmas, was very fond of animals, and was the Rock of our Family whom we all relied upon. She worked hard all her life, was an unbeatable team with my father that fearlessly tackled family projects – including moving from a very comfortable home in Courtice to a property in the country and living in the basement while they built the new house above them, all while trying to corral four kids. Even in her 80s, she designed and rebuilt a house from the bare walls with my Father and brother Neil, so the family could be closer together.
She treasured all the time that she spent with her family just as we treasure all our memories with her. Mom was very fond of her grandchildren and they loved spending time with her. She taught Kristen to walk by pushing a doll carriage and took care of her when Marissa resumed work. Mom would take Kristen shopping to the point that we had so many stuffed animals, including her favourite stuffed black cat, that there was no room in the bed for Kristen. For Daniel, Mom was his bodyguard (as he was very adventurous) including a memorable time when Mom climbed onto the top shelf of a playground display in Costco to rescue Daniel who went to play on the playground and the many times she drove Daniel and Kristen to school, appointments, and programs.
We know that Mom is riding her Gator in Heaven beside my Dad on his Farmal Cub tractor, with their faithful canine companions Scooby Doo and Tigger running alongside.
Mom, you worked hard all your life. Rest in Peace with Dad and all your loved ones.
We love you, we are so very proud of you, and we dearly miss you,
