Kenneth Laverne Rutter Kingsley

 

Laverne went Home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday April 24, 2022

 

 

Laverne was born at the home of his grandparents William and Mabel Rutter, in Picton on Sunday July 2, 1933.  He was the son of the late William and Cathlene Kingsley.

 

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 66 years, Georgie.  He was a loving father to his children Heather Weidmark (Vince), Helen Meenan (John), Alan (Susan) and Earl (Tracy).  He always enjoyed seeing all his grandchildren Keith, Craig, Krista, Graham, Allison, Desiree and Heather Ann and his great grandchildren Brooke, Brayden, Coleton, Samantha, Hailey, Maddison, Hayden, Nash, Gideon and Kenton.  He is survived by his brother Ross (Sheila) of Petawawa.  Laverne was predeceased by his sisters Mildred and Kathryn and brother Robert and George.

 

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville on Thursday April 28th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A Private Family funeral will be held on Friday at 1 pm.  Interment Orono Cemetery.  Due to a family allergy, please no flowers.  In lieu donations to Operation Smile, War Amps or CNIB would be appreciated.
