Dear Aunt Georgie
As families we did not share a lot of time together but the times we did I have always admired your love and dedication to both Lavern and family. Mom shares your news letters and I get exhausted just reading about all you do everyday. I loved our visit to you and uncle Lavern and the patience he always had for us kids. He had a wonderful pure heart and would have been greeted by many angels to welcome him to the next part of his journey. It will take time for the hole in your heart to heal, knowing he is out of pain and free from the limits of his physical body and now is able to soar the heavens will help with the separation till you meet again. And, I speak as well for my mother and father knowing that together we share with you the grief and sorrow of losing Laverne. You have both been a constant reminder of the care and thoughtfulness that can be given to so many. Thank you.

Georgie - These last years of yours and Laverne's life journey together must have been a challenge, and especially for you in recent months. While it is a time of sadness for you and your family, it is also a time of rejoicing that God in his love and mercy has brought Laverne safely to his heavenly home. There is a time to mourn, but there is also a time to rejoice, and I believe that you may be experiencing a mixture of both of these emotions.
Every blessing to you and your family at this time and expecially in the time ahead, as you reflect on how the storm of life has passed and now there is the peace that only God can give.

Laverne and Georgie Kingsley were our mother's, Leonora B. Nicholls, neigbours for several years in Courtice. They weren't just the best neighbours my mother ever had, they were the best neighbours ANYONE ever had. Our deepest condolences to dearest Georgie and the rest of the Kingsley family. May Laverne rest in peace in the arms of his Lord.
