G. Carole Wardell

(nee Greenham)

August 2, 1945 – April 4, 2022

Passed away suddenly at Mt. Sinai Hospital

Beloved partner of Derek Mooney.  Carole was the youngest daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Greenham.  Survived by her brother Elgin Greenham (the late Shirley), she was predeceased by her sister Audrey Martin (the late Jim) and nephew Paul Martin.  Cherished aunt of Maureen Highgate, Ken Martin, Wayne Martin, Russell Greenham, Stanley Greenham and Lynn Schoonderbeek.  She will be lovingly remembered by Terren Mooney as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Carole spent her life educating children at various high schools in Durham Region, she ended her career in Toronto. The guidance she provided to countless students over the years was invaluable.  She was also a 36 year member of The Eastern Star, she loved to travel and took any opportunity to enjoy the finer things life had to offer.  She is gone too soon but left wonderful memories for those that loved her.
