With profound sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of our father, at home on Friday March 25th, 2022
Ken was the son of the late Harvey and Annie Nixon. He was predeceased by his loving wife Mary, and 12 brothers and sisters. Forever loved and cherished by his children Carol Kemlo (Len), Bob Nixon (Cheryl), Nancy Nixon (Steve Fogg), Randy Nixon (Jackie), Beth Roblin (Steve) and Heather Nixon. Proud and loving grandfather to Matt Kemlo, Chris Kemlo (J.J.), Rob Nixon (Kaitlyn), Ryan Nixon (Breanna), Lisa Fogg, Caity Fogg (Joe), Lauren Nixon (Emily), Grant Nixon (Alisha), Kyle Koetje, Sammy Botell (Jake) and Jordan Powers. Papa Ken (G.G.) to Kershaw, C.J., Zennon, Wes, Braelynn, Iris, Millie, Abby and Colton. Lovingly remembered by many special caring nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 29th, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville. A Legion Service will be held at 5:45 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 30th at 11 am, with visitation from 10 – 11 am. The Service will be livestreamed, please use the link below. Private interment Orono Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation, Durham Hospice (Clarington) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
