Surrounded by love, Darlene passed away at home on December 12th, 2021 at the age of 59 years.
Beloved wife of Stuart Pilkington. Loving mom of Jen Pilkington, Andrea Pilkington (Andrew DiMatteo) and Nicole Fitzpatrick (Kaillum). She is now reunited with her grandson, Theo and will be a guardian angel for much anticipated grandchild. Dear sister of Ron (Sharon) Avery, Sharon Schoonderbeek (John) and Sandra Thompson. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, Harold & Elda Avery. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, colleagues at Davis + Henderson and friends far too numerous to mention.
Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Friday December 17th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 18th at 11 am in the Chapel. Those wishing to view virtually, a link will be provided. Interment at Groveside Cemetery, Brooklin. Memorial Donations may be made to a Sunnybrook Pregnancy & Infant Loss (PAIL) Network or Lakeridge Health Foundation.
