Surrounded by his loving family, Alan passed away peacefully at home on October 16th, 2021 at the age of 80 years.
Beloved husband of June for 59 years. Loving father of Keith Wharmby, Steven (Lorie) Wharmby and Julie Wharmby. Adored grandpa of Dylan, Alexander & Tyler. Alan was predeceased by his brother Roger. He is survived by his sisters in law Chris Wharmby, Pauline Brookes and Lorraine (Mark) Sheehan. Dear uncle of Kevin, Hayley, Jimmy, Al, Paul, Chelsea & Brittany.
Memorial Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Wednesday October 20th from 2 – 3 pm, due to capacity restrictions those wishing to attend must reserve a space by contacting the funeral home at (905) 623-5668 between the hours of 9 – 4. A Private service will be held at 3 pm. The service will be livestreamed for those wishing to view, please follow the link below. Memorial Donations may be made to The Humane Society.
