Fond memories of Uncle Al include driving down to Ocean City, all the kids jammed in the back of a station wagon in 1973 and 'geeking out' talking about computers in the late 80's.

Alan was a very special mentor, a family man first who loved his family unconditionally. It shows by the character of his children. I had the privilege of knowing Alan for 43 years, and worked with him for 31. Condolences to the whole family. We lost a good one. RIP Alan.

We are so very sorry to hear of your loss of such a wonderful man. I played soccer with and against Al for many years in the Darlington League and in the Old Timers League in Orono. He was an excellent team mate and could score with either foot, you never knew when he was going to kick it and he usually found the net. As an opposing player he was a good, clean rival, extremely fast and so darn good it was hard to stop him. Off the field he was such a gentleman and a friend along with June, from many years ago. So many nice memories, we will never forget you Al.
