Howard Westley Sturrock

1926 - 2021

Imperial Oil Agent in Bowmanville for close to 40 years, with his late brother Gord

Howard was born in Toronto on November 1, 1926 to parents Albert Sturrock and Ada Manary.  Beloved husband of Helen (nee Leavens) for 72 years.  Devoted father to John (Deb) and Dan (Jane).  He is survived by his sister Audrey (the late Don) and special niece Barb.  Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Abbey (Blake), Emma, Noah (Nerosha) and Ben (Sonya) and two great grandchildren Finley and Maya.

Howard was a bright, meticulous handy-man extraordinaire.  He was active in the community, Kinsmen Club ,Community Care, Cub Scouts, School Board, Power Squadron and Oshawa Wood Club.  He was the kind of guy you would like to have as a neighbour.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

There will be no funeral services at this time.  Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N.  Memorial Donations to The Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
