Her family sadly announces that Melanie passed away on March 25^th, 2021 at the young age of 41 years.

Adored mom of Emmet.  Beloved daughter of the late Joseph & Lynne Lemieux.  Dear sister of Timothy Lemieux (Kathie Scott), Patrick Lemieux, Jillian Perreault (David) and Mark Lemieux (Olivia).  Loving aunt of Jack & Josephine.  She will be sadly missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends as well as Emmet’s dad, Mark Hughes.

Melanie grew up in Bowmanville but spent the last number of years in Toronto.  She was an accomplished and sought-after hair stylist at Yonge Street’s House of Lords Hair Design where she spent most of her career.

A Private Family service will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North, Bowmanville.  Melanie will be laid to rest with her parents at Bowmanville Cemetery.  Memorial Donations may be made to Emmet’s RESP or Renascent Addiction Treatment Centre.
