Surrounded by love, Ben Wind passed away at Glenhill Strathaven LTC on March 10, 2021 just 3 days after his 86th birthday
Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Lammers) for over 60 years. Dear father of Margaret (Peter) O’Neill, Deborah (Dave) Farrington, Trudy Wind and the late Jim Wind. Loving Opa of Stacy (Jean) Lacelle, Christopher Wind, Richard Malette, Eileen Augustin, Kathleen (Ryan) Russell, Stephen Wind, Ryan Farrington & Jonathan Farrington. Great Opa to Abygail, Emma, Lilly, Brianna, Elizabeth, Ebony, Evan and Charlotte. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Jake (Rennie) Wind, Bert (Grace) Wind, George (Jo-Ann) Wind, Marg Wind, Betty (Bill) Morrison and the late Fred Wind.
Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville on Monday March 15th from 12:30 – 2 pm. Those wishing to attend must call the funeral home to reserve a time. A Private Family Service will be held at 2 pm. Memorial Donations may be made to Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund or The Heart & Stroke Foundation.
