My memories of uncle Ben include his great laugh, how he lived the moment fully, his love of fun. I remember how he spoke about the things he was interested in with great enthusiasm. He was a man who was filled with so much information, he was an impressive resource. There was always an interesting story to be told especially when Uncle Ben, Aunt Pat and my parents got together!! I will always remember Uncle Ben’s great love for Aunt Pat, it was very special. I also remember his fierce pride in his family. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing and am comforted in knowing he is reunited with Aunt Pat and Jim. My sincerest condolences to Debbie, Margaret, Trudy and the rest of the family.
Sincerely, Monica

Dear Ben, you and Pat were great neighbors to me and Gypsy on Division St. I have fond memories of our walks with the dogs; your big guys Max and Elmo, and my wee girl Gypsy. All I had to do was open my door and tell Gypsy to “go see Opa” and she would run across to your house. We miss you my friend.

Uncle Ben you will be greatly missed. You were like a father to me while I was growing up. You and Aunt Pat treated us like your own kids at times. I appreciate and truly love you two for that.
I wish this past last year I was able to come and see you and roll you over to Dollarama to buy you tools then tell me I bought the wrong ones. :) You made me laugh and made me cry (happy tears).
Today my tears are sad tears. I am happy that you can be with Aunt Pat and no longer be in pain.
You will always be in my heart as MY UNCLE BEN! I love you.
