John and I are sending our condolences to you and your families. I knew all the kids used to live in Thompson and work for his dad and mom on Beaver Crescent. We visited stan sister Diane 2 yrs ago where she worked. May stan rest in peace. His obituary was in our paper Dauphin Herald.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Lynn and family. My son did his Co-op at the garage on HWY 62. He was always kind, always patient. We adored Stan and know his wonderful smile and big heart will be missed by so many.

I noted Stan's obituary in The Community Press and it brought instant memories of Stan.. Whilte w orking with the newspaper, Stan, was one of my 'customers' and I considered him as a friend as we spent time chatting at his garage on Hwy 62.while I tried to sell him advertising.
When I retired several years ago, I would see Stan at the Bull's game in Belleville. He always had that cheery smile and conversations would carry on as if we see each other earlier in the week..Stan always shared uplifting stories about his life, children and sometimes about some of the foster children (I never knew their names.) and his smile and joy of life. I'm happy that Stan was part of my life. Let is legacy live on the hearts and minds of others.
