Kelvin Herbert Bamsey

Kelvin Herbert Bamsey passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa with family by his side on November 3, 2019, at the age of 82.

Loving husband of Barbara (nee Davis) for 58 years.  Son of the late Allan and Helen Bamsey. Dear Father of Leanne Bamsey (Gayle) of Oshawa and Brad Bamsey of Bowmanville. He will be sadly missed by his two grandchildren Danielle and Hunter Bamsey and their mother Laura. Brother of Jack Bamsey (predeceased) Dot, Ron Bamsey (Marion- predeceased) and Ray Bamsey (Pam).  He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews.

Kel loved to talk and get to know people, He played and coached sports all his life. He worked for Ontario Hydro and Ontario Power Generation for 42 years. He was known as the fuel handling guru!

Friends are invited to a Visitation at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville on Wednesday November 6, 2019 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at ST. JOHN’S ANGLICAN CHURCH. 11 Temperance St, Bowmanville on Thursday November 7, 2019 at 11 am. Memorial Donations may be made to The Cancer Society.
