Alan Edward Francis

December 15, 1940- October 14, 2019

Surrounded by love, Alan passed away at Lakeridge Health  Bowmanville on Monday October 14,  2019.

Beloved Husband of Rosemary Waters. Loving Father of Scott Francis, LeeAnne (Colin) Arnott and Step-Father of Nicole (Mark) Chartrand and David (Tracy) Waters. Missed Grandpa of Scott (Christina), Rosey (Briar) , Jamie, Janine (Tryton), Carey and Step Grandpa of Matthew Chartrand, Devon Waters, Aidan Waters and Grace Waters. Missed by his great-grandchildren Isla and Vienna. Cherished Son of the late Jack and Doris Francis.  Forever thought of by his extended family, friends and particularly his close friends Sid Graveline and George Hagerdy. He will be greatly missed by his dear dog Molly and his cat Jakey.  Alan will also be missed as a devoted member of the Christopher Fellowship and the Free Masons.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2019 from 2- 4 pm. at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville, Ontario in which arrangements have been entrusted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association or the Durham Humane Society.
