So sorry to hear about Glen. My sympathy to the family. Praying for strength and peace at this lonesome time. I grew up on the farm beside The Hawthornes, I haven't seen him since my youth but he had to a wonderful person because he came from an amazing family.

Jan & family,
My husband and I were saddened to hear of Glen's passing. We got to know Glen over the last couple of years when he came out to watch many of our son's hockey games when he was playing close to your home. It was a pleasure to get to know and talk to such a kind and thoughtful man...he will be missed.

Jan & Family:
I too was sad to hear of Glen's passing. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and I (and my entire family) owe him a LOT as he (along with his close colleague Debbie Barrett) originally hired me at the City of Mississauga.
Glen was one of the City's very first technology managers ... he was the Manager of Information Systems Development - when "development" meant coding computer systems in-house, from scratch, line-by-line, in COBOL, Fortran or PL/1 ... not purchasing the system pre-built and fully-functioning from a private company.
Glen, and the team that he managed, paved the way for all of the future computer technology in use today at the City of Mississauga. He was a true technology pioneer and will be sorely missed ... but definitely not forgotten.

I've been blessed to meet Glen Through his loving daughter Erin, son Geoff and his beautiful grand daughters Hannah,Caitlin and Callie!
