Obituary of Marlene Sharon Lorenz

(nee Martin)

Born August 16, 1956. With heavy hearts, we acknowledge the passing of Marlene Sharon Lorenz on September 15, 2017 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, B.C. after a brave fight with cancer. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving and devoted mother by her son, Martin and his father, Ken. As a beloved daughter, sister and aunt, she will be dearly missed by her parents, Mona & Allen Martin; brothers Grant (Cate) and Brian (Lynn), her dear cousin Margaret, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Marlene was a kind and gentle soul with an infectious laugh and sense of humour that she loved to share with others. She spent the majority of her life living and working in Victoria, B.C. and was blessed to have the love and support of a wonderful circle of friends.

The family invites you to a reception to celebrate her life on Thursday, October 5th in the hall at St. Paul's United Church, 178 Church St. Bowmanville from 1 to 3 pm.
