Obituary of Baukje Jansma

Peacefully went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, May 28, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late Sievert Jansma. She will be missed by her children: Leo & Maureen, Ken & Sue, Linda & Mark, Dave & Angela; grandchildren Lila & Marcus, Luke & Lara, Stefanie & Stefano, Rebecca & Josh, Matthew, Spencer & Lena, Ethan, Morgan, and Baukje. She was so proud of her beautiful great grandchildren Alistair, Dillon, Avery, and Ben. A special sister to her siblings in Canada and the Netherlands: the late Frits, Ytsje and Paulus; Jikke and Izaak, Annie, Neeltje and Anne, Follie and Cobie, Renske and Aaltje; Tante Bauk to many nieces and nephews. Her love of family and friends guided her life. 

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville, on Thursday, June 1st from 6-9 pm. A Service to Celebrate Baukje’s Life will be held a REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 130 Scugog Street, Bowmanville, on Friday, June 2nd at 1 pm. Private interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Knox Christian School or World Vision.
