Dear Linda, Mark, Spencer, Ethan and extended family,
We were so sad to hear today that your Mom recently passed away.
We have such fond memories of her during our years in Bowmanville. Always a warm greeting in Church on Sunday mornings, checking in with us and asking about our family as they all left the nest. She was always happy to see them return for a visit and made sure she checked in with them with warm words of welcome. She loved to watch Jennifer dance in the service and would take the time to let her know how much she appreciated her sharing her love of dancing for the Lord.
Now your Mom is celebrating with Jesus. Although her life here on earth has ended, her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren along with all the beautiful memories you have created together. May all the warm and special memories you have shared with your Mom, stay with you and bring you comfort through all the days ahead. God bless you all and give you His strength and comfort. Our deepest Sympathy, love and prayers, Pat & John (Rekker)

Dear, Linda, Mark, Spencer, Ethan and entire family:
During the few times that we were blessed with Baukje Jansma's company, we could see the unconditional love she had for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and the sense of pride she harboured for each of them. Equally important was the admiration that her family had for her, and for what she stood for. Family is life, and the bonds of family are forever. She not only believed this, she lived it. May time heal the shock of sudden loss, and may her legacy of living the Gospel grow through your cherished memories of her.
With our love, heartfelt condolence, thought and prayers, we wish the Jansma clan and extended family the grace of God and support of friends. May Baukje Jansma's life be marked by her capacity to live, love and laugh.
James, Angie, Lena-Rose and Nonno Sam

Growing up in Hampton I was blessed with two sets of parents, my own wonderful parents, and my just up around the corner kinda "self adopted" parents, Oom Sievert and Tante Bauke. It was an idyllic childhood. Thank you Tante Bauke for sharing with me your infectious joy, your infectious love of life, and your big beautiful heart. It helped shape who I am today and touched me deeply, as it obviously did all those who surrounded you, including, and especially, your four beautiful kids, Leo, the cool Volvo driving older brother I never had, Ken, my bestest bike driving, play fort building, Hampton buddy a guy could ever hope for, Linda, my first pre-teen "crush" and Cedar Park swimming lesson partner, and Dave, the twin "brother" to my own little brother. You did an amazingly wonderful job of living here on Earth Tante Bauke, now rest, safe in the arms of Jesus.
