Obituary of Edward Henry Bennett

Edward (Ted) Henry Bennett Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2017 with his nephew at his side at the age of 81. Ed was the loving brother to Marion Johnson, (Bennett), and special Uncle to David Johnson and Barbara Chapman, and Great Uncle to Ryan, Shannon and Jessica. He will be missed by nieces, nephews, children and grandchildren of his predeceased wife Mary Mitchell-Bennett. At his request, Ed will be interred later in the year with his wife Mary in Wingham Ontario. Loved by many, Ed will always be remembered by those closest to him as a mischievous sole who loved to tease and laugh and make others laugh with him. Special thanks to the staff at Fosterbrooke LTC in Newcastle and Ontario Shores for their care and compassion. It takes a minute to meet someone special, a bit longer to appreciate them, some time to love them and a lifetime to forget them. May God Bless your soul, thank you for your years of kindness. Your eyes are now closed, your heart has stopped beating, but your love will live forever within each of us.
