Obituary of M. Lyn Gillespie

M. LYN GILLESPIE May 5, 1940 – March 4, 2017 Loved sister of Enid DeCoe (John) and aunt to Aaron DeCoe (Brooke) and Becky Brand (Craig). Dear friend of Jay & Owen Mellow and family of Bracebridge, Ontario. Lyn’s sanctuary was ‘Aunwabe’, her island in Georgian Bay. She taught for 29 years in Parry Sound and after 14 years in Bracebridge, moved to Traditions of Durham in Oshawa. A Celebration of Lyn’s life will be held at FAITH UNITED CHURCH, 1778 Nash Road, Courtice on Thursday March 9th, 2017 at 2 pm, with visitation from 1 – 2 pm. Memorial Donations may be made to Faith United Church. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North, Bowmanville.
