Obituary of Veda Eliza Thompson

(nee Purdy) Passed away peacefully at Fairhaven Home, in Peterborough on Monday October 25th, 2010 In her 91st year Beloved wife of the late Earl Thompson (October 13, 1993). Loving mother of Larry, Pat (Doug) Hooper and Cindy (Mike Bayens) Thompson. Dear grandmother of Noel (Lasia) Hooper, Rebecca Hooper and Alexandra Edwards. Dear great grandmother of Meghan and Kyla Hooper. Veda’s sense of humour, fun and tireless energy will be missed by her many relatives, her new friends from Peterborough and long-time friends from Bowmanville. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, on Monday November 1, 2010 from 2 – 4 & 7 -9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at TRINITY UNITED CHURCH, 116 Church St. Bowmanville, on Tuesday November 2, 2010 at 1 pm. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.
