WWII Veteran Squadron 413 RCAF Age 88 years Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Sunday December 11, 2011. Beloved husband of Myrna and the late Lillian. Dear father of Beth & David Whyte. Loving grandfather of Clayton (Jennifer) and Ryan (Kerri). Dear brother of the late Stuart and Ralph. Brother- in -law of Bernice Mawhinney. He will be lovingly remembered by Myrna’s children; Peter & Susan, Craig & Karlin, Kelly & Robin and the late Cathy McLean, grandchildren; Sara, Emily, Shaunna, Melanie, Morgan & Taylor, Elizabeth and Matthew and great-grandchildren; Ethan, Mya, Kierstan and Jordan Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville on Monday December 12, 2011 from 7-9 pm. A Legion Service will be held at 6:45 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday December 13, 2011 at 11 am. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
