Obituary of Bruce Alan Manson

(1922-2012) It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Bruce Alan Manson at the Brampton Civic Hospital on Aug 2, 2012. Beloved husband for 64 years of Jean (White), devoted father to Joan and the late Susan (2004). Grandfather to John, Bryan, Steven and Jennifer. Great-grandfather to Jaxon, Jared and Briana. Brother of the late PO James S. Manson DFC & sister-in-law Audrey Beattie. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bruce was employed by George Weston Ltd for 37 years, starting in Accounting and then Internal Auditing, retiring in 1984 as Treasurer. Served 1942-1946 in Cdn.Army Signal Corps, 2nd Division RHLI B132951 in France, Germany and involved in the liberation of Holland.
