Obituary of Shelby Anne Thomas

As the result of a tragic car accident on Saturday July 25, 2015 at the age of 20 years. Beloved daughter of Dave & Nadine. Much loved sister of Hailey Marie. Cherished granddaughter of Gordon & Ann Thomas and Iris & the late Doug McLean. Loving niece of Debbie (Dave) Chene, Carolyn (Ken) Dehaan, Brian Thomas (Diana McCann), Donna Thomas, David (Tina) McLean and Samantha (Gary) Lanigan. Fondly remembered by her cousins, April & Tanner Thomas, Michael, Brian & Kyle McLean and Jessica & Jake Lanigan. Growing up, Shelby was involved in Girl Guides for 7 years and played the piano. She enjoyed soccer, camping and loved fishing with her dad. Shelby had a true love for dogs- German Shepherds, especially her own little dog Lola and the late Storm. In her later years, she loved music, dancing and spending time with her many friends

Service

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, on Thursday July 30, 2015 from 2- 4 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH’S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 127 Liberty Street South Bowmanville, on Friday July 31, 2015 at 11 am. Private Interment will be held at Bond Head Cemetery. Donations in Shelby’s memory may be made to any cause which benefits animals or specifically dogs or a Charity of your Choice.
