Obituary of Rae Abernethy

World War II Veteran RCNVR Passed away peacefully, on Monday December 26, 2016, at the age of 91. Loved husband for 68 years to Muriel (McDonald). Will be dearly missed by his children Doug, Laurel, Alan, Ron & Jill. Treasured grandfather to Tammy, Bryan & Dan Abernethy & Marci Swift. Proud G.G. to Bradyn, Makayla, Hailey, Savannah & Madison Abernethy & Gavin, Dylan, Emmett & Caleb Swift. Predeceased by his parents James & Pearl Abernethy, his sister Ruth St. John & brother Harold Abernethy. Rae lived life to the fullest enjoying his many activities, his church, family & friends.
