Obituary of Brenda Gladys Gill

Brenda’s family is deeply saddened to announce her passing on Monday May 4th, 2015 at home after a short, but courageous, battle with cancer. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 50 years, Kenneth; her children Belinda (Brad) and Corey (Darlene); and her grandchildren Jaime, Brandon, Cameron, Brycen and Noah. Brenda immigrated to Canada from England at the age of 3 and built a rewarding life full of loving family and friends. During her retirement years she divided her time for many years between Canada and the USA (Florida) and, in her true spirit, developed long-lasting relationships south of the border. As such, we know she will be dearly missed by her extended family and friends in the GTA, Tweed, Wilmot Creek and Poinsettia Park. The family would like to express their sincere and appreciative thanks to Dr. Forbes of Durham Region Cancer Centre, Dr. Kassirer of Newcastle Medical and the Community Care Durham nurses – she could not have been with a more caring group. Finally, the family would also like to thank all of their friends and family for the support and prayers they provided during this difficult time.
