Obituary of Jim Strikwerda

Age 87 years Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Monday February 23, 2015 Beloved husband of Ann (nee Woelinga) and the late Lammie (nee Semplonius). Dear father of Jack (Audrey) Strikwerda, Sandra (Wilf) Venema and Carolyn (John) Hyma. Jim was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandsons. Jim will be missed by Ann’s children, Mike (Benita) Vanzalen, Kim (Dave) Bakker and John (Michelle) Vanzalen, as well as her 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Jim was a loving brother to Tina, Yeme and the late Annie, Leah, Lies & Bob and will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, the Semplonius family and his many friends.

Service

Visitation will be held at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street Bowmanville on Thursday February 26th, 2015 from 7 – 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 130 Scugog Street on Friday February 27th, 2015 at 11 am. Private Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Knox Christian School or a Charity of your Choice.
