Obituary of Anna Garwood

Age 89 years Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday December 13, 2013 Beloved wife and soul mate of Jack for 68 years. Loving mother of the late Janice Ellis. Cherished Omi of David Ellis, Jennifer (Jeff) Nelson, and Shauna (Chris) Heer. Proud Great Omi of Leif. Anna and Jack met each other after World War II, in Berlin, and although they couldn’t speak each others’ language, they fell quickly in love and lived a long life of 68 years together. Anna was a member of the Discussion group at the Clarington Older Adults Association; she kept active by going for many long walks with her beloved Jack around Bowmanville. She will be missed by her extended family and friends.
