Age 77 years Peacefully passed away, with her family by her side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday June 13, 2014 Beloved wife of Alan Downie. Dear mother of Heather Downie (Bert Vervoort), Lori Freeman (Terry) and Rob Downie (Sue). Loving Nana of Kristan Higgins, Nick Downie, Ashleigh Freeman, Quinn Downie and Eric Downie.

Visitation will be held at the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. Bowmanville, on Tuesday June 17, 2014 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at ST. GEORGE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 250 Mill Street South, Newcastle on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at 11am. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby. Memorial Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or The Durham Humane Society.
