M. EILEEN DOWN (nee Pickell) In her 90th year Passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday July 25th, 2012 Survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Lloyd. Loving mother to her sons Gary (Marilyn) and David (Kathy). Predeceased by her dear daughter Janet (John Donnelly). Cherished grandmother of Erin (Jamie Stephenson), Greg (Julia Coey) and Brian Down; Melissa (Donnelly) & Simon Prittie and Maren (Donnelly) & David Mason; Carl and Amanda Down. Dearly loved by her great-grandchildren Jaimen and Brodie Prittie and Charlie Mason. ATCM from Royal Conservatory of Music Organist & Choir Director for 20 years and Longtime Member of Ebenezer United Church & Choir Life Member of UCW Member of General Motors Choir for 20+ years Has been recognized as Community Care Volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels for 40+ years Eileen coordinated Barbershop and GM Choir Section Practices and was often a soloist at weddings There is a bench in her honour at Darlington Park
