Age 67 years Went Home to be eternally with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday January 9, 2011 Beloved husband of Gail (Howell). Dear father of Heidi & Gary Vander Meulen and Amy & Michael Fisher. Loving grandfather of Jennifer, Robyn, Marcus, Samuel, Owen, Isabel and great-grandfather of Ethan, Emma & the late Christina. Dear brother of the late Stuart (his wife Jane); Debbie (George) Glasbergen; Pat (Bert) Vanden Heuvel; Grace (Leo) De Mooy; Wietze (Bev) De Vries, Betty Asante and Doug De Vries. Eldest son of the late Hendrik & Heidi de Vries. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville, on Tuesday January 11, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at REHOBOTH CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 130 Scugog Street on Wednesday January 12, 2011 at 2:30 pm. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery.
