Obituary of Rowland Christopher Coombes

Age 80 years Retired from GM/EDS It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rowlie Coombes. The Lord took him peacefully after a lengthy illness at St. Michael’s Hospital Toronto and Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday October 8, 2011 Beloved husband for 56 years of Wilma (nee Richards). Dear father of Wayne (Laticha), Gary (Tammy) and Dan (Sharon). Loving grandfather of Brianna (Kevin) Forest, Spencer, Mackenzie, Garrett and Aidan. Predeceased by his parents Les & Ellen Coombes and brother John. Survived by his step-mother Grace Coombes; brothers Bob (Dorene), Jim (Margaret) and Bruce (Linda); sister Shirley (the late Joe Amirault) and sister-in-law Gwen. Lovingly remembered by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and step-relatives. All are invited to A Celebration of Rowlie’s Life which will be held at TRINITY UNITED CHURCH, 116 Church St. Bowmanville on Friday October 14th, 2011 at 1:30 pm.
