Obituary of Barbara Eileen Cochrane

January 30, 1927 - November 4, 2014 It is with much sadness we announce Barb’s passing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday November 4th, 2014 She was surrounded by her children Donna (Ron) Masterson and Craig (Lesley) Cochrane. She was predeceased by her husband Don on June 20, 2014 and parents Carman and Evelyn Foster. She will be greatly missed by her 6 grandchildren, Darryl Thomas, Carmyn Thomas (Grant Cole), Kymm Brouzes (Leo), Karyn Mayuk (Ryan), Braden Cochrane and Kaley Cochrane (Travis Brossart). Proud Greatgrandmother to Blaire, Laine and Erin Brouzes, Beatrice Thomas-Cole, Carter and Gertrude Mayuk. Survived by sisters Thelma (Jack) Westlake, Lois (Steve) Nimigon, Jean (Lorne) Penfound, Judy Hunt and brother Jack Foster. She is predeceased by her brother Russell and sister-in-law Kay Foster and sister Dorothy and brother-in-law Jack Mesher and sister in law Isabelle Foster. Will be missed by several brothers in law and sisters in law and many nieces and nephews. We thank the Nursing staff and Doctors of the Cardiac unit G5 of Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital for the very attentive care given to Mom. Special thanks to the staff of Strawberry Fields unit of Hillsdale Estates Oshawa and Dr. MacIntosh for their care and compassion.
