I am saddened to say goodbye to my Uncle Les, and I have so many wonderful memores of him since my earliest childhood when you lived in Buchans. He was an honorable, honest and gentle fun-loving man of integrity and love for all. He will surley be missed. May he rest in peace. God bless you all. Hugs, Shirley (his brother Ben and Ethel's daughter).

Gloria, Don, May and family:
We were saddened to hear of Les’ passing. It gave me great comfort speaking with him, hearing his voice a couple of days before his passing. It was a blessing that he lived a long and healthy life. I will miss calling him and checking on his health and hearing how the rest of the family are doing. Cherish the memories as I will, as it will help comfort you in the days and weeks ahead.
Love you always my brother.
Sister Judy (Dearing), Jack Jones and family.

Gloria, Don, May and families, we share in your sadness at Les’ passing. Rosalie and I had some enjoyable visits with Les and Evelyn when we lived in Lakeview. There was never a dull moment, especially with Les’ sense of humor. His wit and stories always brightened up the atmosphere with laughter.
We also enjoyed visiting Les and Evelyn in Florida. On one occasion we decided to go to the Golden Corral for dinner. When we got ready Les said, I like your shirt. I said, so do I, but it cost me $25.00. When we arrived at the Golden Corral we were waiting in line when some guy said to Les, I like your shirt. Les said thank you and turned to me with a grin and said I only paid $5.00 for my shirt. His dry sense of humor was on full display. We laughed about that one over dinner.
Again, we heard some of his stories when He and May visited us in Arizona. I could fill pages with Les’ humorous stories, but suffice it to say there was never a dull moment when he was around. He will be missed but let us be thankful that we had him with us for so long and look to God’s peace and comfort during this difficult time.
