Obituary of Ray Gordon VanMeer

It is with great sadness that the family of Ray VanMeer announce his sudden passing on Wednesday November 6 2024, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor VanMeer. Cherished father of Randy (Donna), Rick (Karen) and the late Patti Kingdom (Dan). Proud grandfather of Laura Langstaff (Cory) and Nicole VanMeer. Brother of Don VanMeer and the late Betty McKinnon. Brother-in-law to Joan Haass (Herman). A retiree from General Motors. Ray loved to spend time fishing, bowling and challenging anyone to a game of euchre or crib.

A private graveside service will be held at Bowmanville Cemetery. If desired memorial donations may be made to Bowmanville Hospital Foundation or Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation.
