The world’s best piano teacher. That is how I will remember her. I am so very sad to hear of Mrs. Rice’s passing. She was one of those people you just felt would always be around. She was truly gifted in music and I’m so lucky to have learned piano from her as a child. Whether it was the semi-annual recitals she hosted for her students, helping me prepare for my exam, or travelling to Toronto together to attend a piano concert, I will forever cherish my memories of our time together. May her legacy live on through piano and music. My sincerest condolences to her family.

Thinking of my wonderful piano teacher and neighbour. Remembering fondly Christmas recitals in the living room and Mrs. Rice reminding me to bend my fingers while I played during our lessons.
