Obituary of Donald Frank Salmonds

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Frank Salmonds announce his passing on Wednesday October 30th, 2024, at the age of 87 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville.
 Born October 18, 1937 to Frank D Salmonds and Mazie Salmonds, he leaves behind his wife of 68 years Nancy May Salmonds. Don was one of four children with younger brothers Ken Salmonds and Jim Salmonds and sister Patricia Hapgood. (d. 2019) He was a loving father to Jim (Lorna), Frank and Kerri (Craig) and amazing grandfather to Christopher, Danielle, Ryan, Jacob (d. 2021), Dawn, Jason and Jamie and great grandfather to Charley, Savannah and Jacob.
 Family was always important to Don and every adventure he and Nancy took involved them, from weekends at the trailer with Jim, Kerri and their familes to trips abroad to visit Frank. 
He will be terribly missed by all, but his memory will live on.

A private service will be held followed by burial at Bowmanville Cemetery
