Obituary of Cornelis Mostert

Cornelis Mostert (July 12, 1936 – October 27, 2024)

After a lengthy illness the Lord took home Cornelis “Cor” Mostert at the age of 88 on Sunday, October 27, 2024. Much loved husband of Carol, father to Jessica (Walter) Sherwin, and to Arnold (Joanne) Mostert. Loved Grandpa of Joshua Mostert. Brother to predeceased siblings Maria, Arend, Eliza, Minnie, Martin, and Dick. Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and a friend to many. He was a patient at Glen Hill Strathaven long term care home, where he was surrounded with love and patience. He will be missed and will remain forever within our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church 2805 Highway 2 East, Bowmanville, ON L1C 6E9 on Saturday November 9, 2024 at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cor’s memory to the Glen Hill Gardens home, Bowmanville, which is currently under construction, or to another charity of your choice.
