Obituary of Marvin Burtis

MARVIN BRIAN BURTIS Passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, at age 65. Marvin was born May 5, 1950, he was a long time resident and OPP officer of Brighton, ON, and is the loving son of George (predeceased) and Marjorie Burtis. Devoted husband to Elizabeth “Lorry” Jones for 45 very happy years. Cherished Dad to Alisha (Sandy) McIsaac and Jennifer Burtis. Proud grandpa to Ava. Beloved brother to Marleen Kelly and Brian Burtis.

The family of Marvin Burtis invites all to attend a Celebration of Marvin’s Life held at Liberty Pentecostal Church, 1965 Martin Rd, Bowmanville, on April 10th at 2 pm. Private interment Bowmanville Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville.
