Obituary of Stanley Tywon

It is with a heavy heart we are announcing the passing of our treasured Stan.

Stanley David Tywon, age 70, was born August 24, 1954 in Toronto to parents Olive and Alexander.

He graduated from St. Michael’s Choir School, furthering his education at the University of Toronto’s St Mike’s College (BA, B.Ed.) He had two rewarding careers in his life. He was a public school teacher for many years and then became a successful freelance graphic designer.

He met his wife, Barbara in 1989 and they were married two years later.

He is survived by Barbara and children Michael and Shelley (Geoff), grandson Jesse (Kaity) and great grandchildren, and predeceased by his sister, Carol.

Stan was known for his caring soul and generosity. His creative mind, keen wit and sharp sense of humour will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held on Saturday October 12, 2024 from 2-3pm with service to follow at 3pm at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division Street Bowmanville.
