Black, George Beverly

At the age of 93, passed away peacefully at Thornton View Nursing Home on Sunday August 25, 2024.

Predeceased by his wife Shirley. Loving father to Brad, Terry (The Late Robbin), Debbie (Gord) Bryans, and Lisa. Cherished grampa of Leanna, Travis, Darren, Christina, Nicole, Michelle, and Christopher. Cherished great grampa of Lauren, Brooklynn, Layne, Logi, Maverick, Autumn, Ty, Wesley and Blake.

He is survived by his sister Dawne (Norm) Campbell and predeceased by his brother Howard (Bonnie) Black. He is also survived by his partner Sherry Cobbledick and will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.

Dad (Bev) was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Those wishing to honour his memory can make a donation to the Bowmanville Legion Branch 178.

A graveside service will take place on October 5, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Cartwright Union Cemetery. Following the interment there will be a Celebration of Life at the Bowmanville Legion from 4pm until close.
