Miss Prower was my English and French Teacher at Courtice High School. She was an excellent teacher and just a few years older than many of her students. When I was in Grade 13, Miss Prower was very sick and was so concerned that her students would suffer as a consequence of her absence. When she was able to return to work she dedicated so much time and energy to us. My marks in the final French exam were the highest of all my subjects. Miss Prower honoured a group of us,who were the first students at Courtice High by attending several of our mini reunions at Swiss Chalet. A special woman!

Ms. Prowler was an outstanding teacher. Her class was my favourite. Still remember the table manners she taught at the beginning of her class. Good memories.

I hadn't known Liz for many years but the Liz I knew was intelligent, articulate and kind. She was always ready with a compliment. She had a chic style that was all her own and I loved her black and white ensembles and jewelry.
She always made me laugh with her witty sense of humor. My heart goes out to all that loved her. She will be missed dearly.
