Obituary of Joan Muriel Mulle

Joan Mulle (Morton/Pyle) 

April 11, 1938 - July 22, 2024

After a valiant fight with COPD, our mom, Joan Mulle, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 at Harmony Hill Retirement Home, the morning of July 22, 2024. 

A creative soul at heart, our homes are filled with pursuits that she loved whether it be knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting or embroidering.  For fun she loved playing cards, bingo, rummoli, crafts, cruising around the building in her wheelchair on nice days, or in the Bistro having a coffee and chatting with friends.  She moved to Harmony Hill during the trying Covid times but made many new friends and loved the staff too.

Spending time with her family was top of her list and she will be missed by daughters Lianne (the late Frank), Jennie-Lee (Dave), grandkids Kaitlin, Austin, Adam (Brenda), Amy (Brett), and great granddaughter Scarlett.  

A heartfelt thank-you to the staff and many friends at Harmony Hill for going above and beyond, and to Cory at Northcutt & Elliot Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, October 5th at Northcutt Elliot Funeral Home, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville at 1:00pm.  

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the family to Starlight Children’s Foundation https://give.starlightcanada.org/ or to an animal charity of your choice.
