Obituary of Robert E. Burgess

In his 76th year Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday December 8, 2010 surrounded by his loving family Beloved husband of Gladys (nee Bigelow) for 54 years. Loving father of Lori (Bill Foster), Maurice (Brian Taylor) and Marcia (Rob Ballar). Dear grandfather of T.J. (Kelly), Shane (Teryn), Bethany and great-grandfather of Paige, Damian and Tristan. Cherished brother of Muriel (the late Morley), Betty (Charles), Lorne (the late Joyce), Dorothy (Earl), Bruce, Diane (Ted), Judy (Wally), Jim (Pam), Glen (Ava), Mary-Lou (Wayne), and the late Darlene. Special uncle of Karen Whalen. He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. As per Robert’s request, there will be no funeral service.
